About Shihan Tony Berger

Shihan Tony Berger is a 6th degree black belt in the American Te System of Goju Ryu Karate and is the founder and chief instructor of Kuma No Te Karate in Davis. His sensei is David Anderson, 7th Dan and founder of Koguma Karate.
Tony has lived in Davis with his family since 2010 and is from New York City. He is an emergency physician and artist and enjoys all things creative. He is an avid Chen Tai Chi and Vinyasa Yoga practitioner and plays the tabla, a North Indian drum used in classical Indian music. He has 3 kids and is married to Sensei Brenna Berger.
